Brown Places 3rd, Women's Cross Country Finishes 3rd At Rice Invitational

The Texas Southern women's cross country team placed third overall at the 50^th Rice Invitational on Friday evening.

Alyvia Brown placed third overall with a  time of 14:44.7 in the 4K race. Katherine Canchola placed 10^th overall after running 15:15.7 followed by McKenna Duty (15:36.7), Stacy Guerrero (15:56.6), Kamara Bradley (17:22.6), Dakota Gaston (19:42.4) and Ruby Rangel (19:55.1).

TSU is back in action at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Oct. 3.
