MONTGOMERY, Texas – The Texas Southern men's golf team posted a team total of 931 (308 – 304 - 319) to finish in 14th place at the Bentwater Intercollegiate hosted by Sam Houston State University on Tuesday.
Junior Bradley Lavinier was the top scorer for the team with his 16-over-par total of 229 (74 – 77 - 78). Freshman Javier Vasquez was one stroke back on 230 (73 – 75 – 82) while sophomore Yashal Shah posted a 236 (79 – 81 – 76) total.
The Tigers continue their home stretch of the schedule as they compete in the Colin Montgomerie Invitational, hosted by Houston Christian University at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas on March 2 and 3
