ATLANTA, Ga. - TSU sophomore guard Aylasia Fantroy was named to the 2024-25 women's basketball All-SWAC First Team on the eve of the 2025 SWAC Tournament in Atlanta, Ga.
Fantroy led TSU in scoring with 12.8 points in her inaugural season was its second-leading rebounder with 6.3 boards per outing. She led the team with 70 steals while finishing third with 21 blocks. The Palestine, Texas native was a two-time SWAC Newcomer of the Week honoree and two-time SWAC Impact Player of the Week while earning SWAC player of the Week honors once. She posted three double-doubles with four games of 20-plus points.
Fantroy and the Tigers are back in action on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. against either Prairie View A&M or Bethune-Cookman in the first round of the 2025 SWAC Tournament in Atlanta, Ga.
