The Texas Southern bowling team concluded regular season play and Elizabeth Stokley was named to the 2023-24 All-SWAC Bowling Second Team, the conference announced on Monday.
The Tigers finished the regular season with a league record, 13-8 as the team finished with a 18,934 total pin count (180.32 average). Stokley led the Tigers with a 193.36 average pinfall, placing her at sixth in the conference. Shyanne Ciesiolka placed 11th with an 187.35 average.
The all-conference honors and individual award winners were determined by average individual pinfall during conference play.
Stokley, who hails from Elizabeth City, N.C. ranked seventh in the conference concluding the regular season with a 190.88 average pin fall.
The 2024 SWAC Bowling Tournament will take place March 22-24 in Arlington, Texas at the Bowling ITRC.
