PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Both TSU cross country teams wrapped up the regular season with a second-place finish at the Clifton Gillard Cross Country Meet in Prairie View on Thursday.
Brandon Adolphus placed third after running 15:53.37 while Jeremiah Barrera (16:49.29) and Roberto Rodriguez (17:01.95) placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
On the women's side, Alyvia Brown (19:33.13), who has the fastest time in the 5K in the SWAC, won the overall meet while Jessica Williams (20:00.4) placed second. Freshman Dakota Gaston finished sixth (21:39.56) overall.
TSU will have a week off before moving on to the 2024 SWAC Championship in Tallahassee, Fla. on Monday, Oct. 20.
