MEN'S GOLF IN 6th PLACE AFTER DAY 1 OF SEASON OPENER, O’ROURKE LEADS THE WAY FOR THE TIGERS

ATLANTA, GA. - Texas Southern Men's golf is currently in 6th position following the opening round of the Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. HBCU Golf Classic.

Junior, Liam O'Rourke takes the lead for the Tigers and is tied 4th individually after his 1-under par round of 71. O'Rourke carded 17 pars and a solo birdie for his round.
Sophomore Darian Faust is three strokes back with his 2-over 74 and tied in 4th place. Freshman Matthew VanHoy is tied 27th with his 4-over 76 while sophomore, Ravepon Kosalutta is one stork back carding a 77. Junior Kci Lindskog posted a 79.

The Tigers conclude their efforts in the final round of the 38th Annual Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Classic at Eagle's Landing Country Club Tuesday morning with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.

The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to celebrating the achievements and impact of HBCUs and their remarkable alumni. Their mission is to provide support, resources, and opportunities to enhance the educational experience of students attending HBCUs and promote the legacy of academic excellence and cultural heritage within these institutions.
