Bowling Completes Day 2 Of Colonial Classic

HARAHAN, La. - The TSU bowling team completed the second day of the 2023 Colonial Classic hosted by Tulane University on Saturday.
 
TSU dropped its first four matches to UAB (991-902), Alabama State (1,034-915), Emmanuel (966-804) and Sam Houston State (967-897) but closed out the day on a positive note with an 888-884 win over Alabama A&M.
 
Newcomer Elizabeth Stokley led TSU with a 186.8 average as she bowled a high game of 221. Evan Smith followed with a 176.2 as she had a high of 208 followed by Peyton Trevino's 188.75 (4 matches played). Trevino also had high games of 204 and 221.
 
TSU will open bracket play on Sunday against Prairie View A&M at 9 a.m. The contest will be streamed on TSU Athletics' YouTube page on Tulane's YouTube page.
