ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Texas Southern University men's golf team is in 5th place after the opening round of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championship on Monday.
Senior Grant Everson is tied 8th individually and in the lead for the Tigers while sophomore Devansh Chadha is tied for 13th.
"We have to play disciplined golf," Texas Southern University head golf coach, Dr. Gary Grandison said. "We expect significant improvements tomorrow."
The Tigers continue their efforts in the second round of the 2021 Southwestern Athletic Conference Golf Championships Tuesday. Oak Wing Golf Club is playing at 7,043 yards from the men's tee as round two will begin at 8:50 a.m.
