D'IBERVILLE, Miss. - The TSU bowling team finished in fifth place at the conclusion of the SWAC East Roundup this past weekend.
After a 3-1 finish on Friday, the team concluded the final two days of the roundup with a 2-6 mark which gives them a 10-14 SWAC overall record. TSU battled to the end in all of its matches as six games featured scores of 200-plus pins.
As a team, TSU knocked down 11,334 total pins for an average of 161.9 pins. Samantha Kriner finished ninth overall at the roundup with a 172.23 average followed by Summer Salak (11th/184.92) and Taylor Krings (12th/169.46).
The Tigers are back on action on Feb. 28 at the Big Red Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.
