ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Lady Tigers of Texas Southern University completed a three-game sweep at Mississippi Valley State, winning Sunday's series finale 6-5.
Haley Castro and A'Leecia Bell knocked back-to-back RBI singles in the top of the sixth inning to help TSU reclaim the lead and control of the game. Madi Marek's RBI single in the top of the seventh inning that scored Tevanae Tate proved to be a needed insurance run.
