Texas Southern softball falls to Alabama A&M 10-7

CONROE, Texas – Texas Southern dropped a 10-7 decision to Alabama A&M to close out day one of the SWAC Round-Up being held this week.

The two teams battled down to a seven all tie after seven innings of play. TSU scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to extend the contest.

Three runs in the top of the ninth gave the Lady Bulldogs all they would need to steal a win versus the Lady Tigers.

Jessica Miller tallied four RBIs for Texas Southern while Jasmine Fulmore was credited with the loss. TSU will face Alabama State tomorrow at 12:30 pm to begin day two of SWAC Round-Up play.
