Lady Tigers win tenth league game with victory over GSU

GRAMBLING, La. - Texas Southern defeated Grambling State 67-38 Saturday night at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

With this win, the Lady Tigers claimed their 10th conference victory and remain on top in the number 1 spot.

Alexus Johnson led the way, scoring a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds.  Morgan Simmons followed with 11 points and grabbing eight boards.

TSU led the entire game, leading by as many as 29 points. They allowed Grambling State only 19 points the first half to their 35. Second half they outshot the home team Lady Tigers 32 to 19.
