NORTHRIDGE, Calif.- A total of four players scored in double figures as the Texas Southern Lady Tigers captured their first win of the season with a 71-61 victory over IUPUI at the Cal State Northridge Tournament.
Morgan Simmons led the way with 16 points and seven rebounds. Brianna Sidney tallied 15 points while Alexus Johnson added 13 and Diamonisha Sophus netted 11 points.
TSU shot 45 percent from the field and 63 percent from the charity stripe.
The Lady Tigers dished out 19 assists and forced an impressive 28 turnovers for the game.
