Lady Tigers basketball signs four student-athletes

HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers basketball team has announced the addition of four student-athletes for the 2015-16 season.

The Lady Tigers coaching staff feels that they were able to address their programs' needs as a whole.

"When we began the process of recruiting this past offseason we wanted to focus on bringing in talented student-athletes that would fit well into our system," said TSU head coach Johnetta Hayes-Perry.

"We sought out student-athletes that work hard on and off the court and are disciplined. We feel like we were really able to address our needs moving forward and we're looking forward to the next generation of Texas Southern Lady Tigers basketball."
