HOUSTON- Texas Southern placed a total of five players in double figures but it wasn't quite enough as the upset minded Tigers fell to Clemson by a score of 84-77 on the road.
Demontrae Jefferson led all TSU scorers with 22 points, followed by Kevin Scott (14), and Derrick Bruce (12).
The Tigers trailed 40-36 at halftime and were only outscored 44-41 in the second half but Clemson was able to make several runs in the second half which continued to push their leads to double digits.
Texas Southern will have a few days off before its next game on the road versus Oakland on Nov. 30
